Inspector Insight was built around a simple question: why do people buy what they buy? The site looks at the behavioural science behind consumer choices, brand perception and market research, translating findings that are often buried in academic papers or industry reports into guides anyone can use.
Our team reads the research first. Before we write about a product category, a pricing tactic or a branding trend, we look for the studies, surveys and consumer data that explain the behaviour behind it, then check that against real-world reviews and our own experience using the products we cover.
We choose what to cover by asking where psychology and purchasing decisions actually meet: why a label makes something feel premium, why a discount feels urgent, why one review changes a mind and another doesn’t. If a topic doesn’t help explain buyer behaviour or help someone choose better, it doesn’t make the site.
